Coachella style with its modern bohemian edge reflects the trends and is setting them at the same time.
With Coachella gaining Momentum, you long even more for spring playfulness, boho chic, creativity….
However, I live in Hamburg, North Germany, and not in the Colorado Desert, California. My Coachella-inspired outfit should be adapted with regards to the temperature as well as with regards to style. It’s no secret, that Hamburg very seldom has favourable weather, and the styling should be much more conservative here.
A hippie note is an integrate part of every Coachella outfit. I decided to interpret it with the help of my favourite fashion Accessory – the Turban. I am a big fan of it, generally, and I am planning a series of posts on my Blog showing you the possibilities of combining this fantastic Accessory, very much underestimated, but, fortunately, gaining importance lately.
It is a fascinating piece which revokes memories of Hollywood glamour and true elegance and has a clear boho aspect, too. In the past few years, the Turban has been growingly interpreted in terms of street fashion.
Turbans with an ornamentation in front are, of course, especially statement-making.
For my Hamburg-adapted Coachella-inspired look, I combined this Accessory with a basic neutral-colored trousers set, with a white t-shirt underneath. The width of the trousers as well as the very trendy Extra long belt are elements of the hippie/boho style, which goes well with turban.
It might be worth mentioning, that during this shooting on a April weekend, it was raining in Hamburg all the day long. Hovewer, I felt well-covered with my suit and also protected with my platform shoes. The Hamburg-adapted Coachella outfit version thus proved to be totally wearable.

Ich lebe jedoch in Hamburg, Norddeutschland, und nicht in der Colorado Desert, Kalifornien. Mein Coachella-inspiriertes Outfit sollte sowohl in Bezug auf die Temperatur als auch in Bezug auf den auf den Style angepasst werden.

Es ist ein faszinierendes Stück, das Erinnerungen an Hollywood-Glamour und wahre Eleganz widerruft und auch einen klaren Boho-Aspekt hat. In den letzten Jahren wurde der Turban zunehmend im Rahmen von der Straßenmode interpretiert.
Turbane mit einer Verzierung vorne sind, natürlich, besonders dekorativ und aussagekräftig.
Für meinen Hamburger-Coachella-inspirierten Look habe ich dieses Accessoire mit einem neutralen Basic-Hosen-Set kombiniert, darunter ein weißes T-Shirt. Die Breite der Hose sowie der sehr trendige extralange Gürtel sind Elemente des Hippie/Boho-Stils, der zum Turban passt.
Erwähnenswert ist außerdem, dass es bei diesem Shooting an einem Aprilwochenende in Hamburg den ganzen Tag geregnet hat. Nichtdestotrotz fühlte ich mich gut angezogen mit meinem Set und auch geschützt mit den hohen Plateauschuhen. Die Hamburger-angepasste Coachella-Outfit-Version erwies sich somit als absolut tragbar.
