Head Scarf: The Most Elegant Accessory Part I

Head Scarf – what a beautiful, truly feminine Accessory! A head scarf is very versatile and can immediately take your look to the next level! Great divas from the past made it iconic.

Head Scarf

Head scarf is still a very charming Accessory that fashion designers keep proposing in their collections.

But still, this Accessory is largely underestimated. Why is this so?

Head Scarf

I think most women are aware of the fact that a head scarf looks very chic, but it is a little intimidating – they are not sure about the correct styling and are afraid of looking out of place.

For those frustrated to figure out a good way of wearing head scarves, I will try to show different ways of combining this wonderful Accessory in an outfit.

Head Scarf

There are different ways of wearing a head scarf: as a forehead scarf, as a head band, tied with a bow, head scarf turban, vintage wrap. Every option creates different style accents and different looks.

Generally, a headscarf  implies a woman who is feminine but somewhat defiant, too. It is a style that signifies coolness, but it’s also easy to create and perfect for women who are unwilling to spend much time doing their hair.

Head Scarf

Forever a symbol of class and elegance, the headscarf  has a long history in the world of cinema and fashion.

Thus, a headscarf is often associated with the “incognito” look of the film stars from the 1950s and 1960s. Typically accompanied by large sunglasses and convertible cars, the triangular headscarf tied under the chin embodied elegance and glamour.

Head Scarf

It is almost always a good idea to team a head scarf with sunglasses to add more glamour factor!

But you should not be afraid of wearing head scarves in the colder months, too. A head scarf can be a statement piece for fall or early spring, also!

Styling with headscarves works for the summer, but also for the fall and actually, all year round. You can pair it with a summer dress as well as with a trenchcoat in winter.

Head Scarf

In this outfit, I took a chance and combined a head scarf with a faux fur jacket, long slit skirt and high boots. Somewhat unconventional, but I really liked this look! Also, I think this look would be incomplete without the accent-setting leopard-printed statement headpiece!
